Kathmandu, July 27 : Chief Justice Dr. Manoj Kumar Sharma has returned home today upon completion of a four-day visit to India.
He had departed for India on July 23 at the invitation of his Indian counterpart, Surya Kant. According to Supreme Court Spokesperson Arjun Prasad Koirala, during the visit, Chief Justice Dr. Sharma held a bilateral meeting with his counterpart, Kant, and discussed matters regarding the exchange of judicial practices between the two countries.
Chief Justice Dr. Sharma also observed the Supreme Court of India and gathered information regarding the administration of justice.
The Chief Justice was accompanied by his spouse, Uma Sharma, and Joint Registrar Amit Upreti during the visit.
