Kathmandu, Oct 2: General Secretary of the ruling Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), Bipin Acharya, has suggested the government and the parliament that they changed work styles so that they could fulfill people’s aspiration for change and give a pace to development activities.
In his address at the House of Representatives meeting today, General Secretary and lawmaker Acharya reminded that citizens were yearning for quick results, so the process and work styles at state mechanisms require correction accordingly. “If citizen’s aspirations are not met on time, the political leadership will face questions,” he warned.
Acharya reminded that the government had taken leadership amidst mounting anomalies, botched up development works and plodding traditional approach of state agencies. So, it would be hurried to make comprehensive evaluation of the government in just six months of its formation.
He further viewed the opposition in the parliament could make comments to government based on facts and reason. Proper documentation, classification and prioritization of the issues raised in the parliament are imperative for resolving problems, according to him.
