Bengaluru, April 11: In the Indian Premier League (IPL), Delhi Capitals have secured their fourth consecutive win. In the match held on Thursday evening, Delhi defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore by 6 wickets, continuing their unbeaten run.
Chasing a target of 164 runs, Delhi reached the target by scoring 169 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in 17.5 overs. For Delhi, KL Rahul scored 93 runs off 53 balls, hitting 7 fours and 6 sixes. Similarly, Tristan Stubbs scored 38 runs, and captain Axar Patel added 15 runs.
For Bangalore, Bhuvneshwar Kumar took two wickets, while Yash Dayal and Suyash Sharma took one wicket each.
Earlier, after losing the toss and being invited to bat first at Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore posted a total of 163 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. For Bangalore, Phil Salt and Tim David both scored 37 runs each, while captain Rajat Patidar scored 25, Virat Kohli made 22, and Krunal Pandya added 18 runs.
For Delhi, Bipraj Nigam and Kuldeep Yadav took two wickets each, while Mukesh Kumar and Mohit Sharma grabbed one wicket each.
With this victory, Delhi now has 8 points from 4 matches and stands in second place on the points table. Bangalore, having played one more game, stands in third place with 6 points.
