Dharan (Sunsari), July 14: Two employees of the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) died in a road accident occurred at Seuti Bridge of Itahari Sub-metropolis along the Dharan-Itahari roadway.
Even an employee was injured in the incident occurred last mid night. The NEA vehicle (Ba 1 Yan 1651) met the accident last mid night, according to Chandra Bahadur Khadka, information officer at the District Police Office, Sunsari.
Driver Birkh Rai from Dharan-13 and employee Suman Acharya from Dharan-16 were seriously injured in the incident. They breathed their last while undergoing treatment at BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences at 12:45 am last night, Khadka added.
Another employee injured in the incident, Padam Rai, from Dharan-20 has been receiving treatment. Investigation into the incident is underway, the police added.
