RSP will strengthen collaboration with the media: Leader Parajuli

Kathmandu, July 13: Deputy Leader of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Parliamentary Party, Ganesh Parajuli, has made it clear that the RSP has no intention of controlling the mass media.

In a discussion held by the parliamentary party with journalists reporting on parliamentary affairs on Monday, he mentioned that the role of the media is important in strengthening democracy.

RSP Chief Whip Kabindra Burlakoti stated that the party is committed to working in a result-oriented matter as per the people’s mandate and urged the media to support them in positive deeds.

Likewise, RSP Whip Prakash Chandra Pariyar said that the party will strengthen cooperation with the media and work in the parliamentary process.

President of the Parliamentary Affairs Journalists Society, Manoj Satyal, President of the Online TV Journalists Association, Jeevan Bhandari, and others shed light on the role of media personnel in parliamentary practice and shared their experiences in this regard.
Chairs of different parliamentary committees also took part in the discussion.
