RSP general convention: Closed session postponed

Chitwan, June 22: The closed session of the first general convention of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has been postponed.

The RSP has stated that the closed session will now begin after 7:00 am on Tuesday.
According to RSP General Secretary Kabindra Burlakoti, closed session scheduled to be held today has been postponed for 7:00 am tomorrow. The closed session has been postponed as time was needed to probe the complaints filed against the delegates.

The closed session is being held at the Exhibition Center of the Nepal Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Burlakoti said that the closed session will begin with Ramakant Rimal from the Disciplinary Commission presenting a report of the Disciplinary Commission. There will be a discussion on it. After that, Treasurer Lima Adhikari’s financial report will be presented and discussed.

After the treasurer’s report, General Secretary Burlakoti will present the organizational.
Following a discussion on the report, the party’s joint general secretaries will hold discussion and seek approval of the statute.

After the approval of the statute, party president Rabi Lamichhane will present a political report, which will be discussed and approved.

RSP President Lamichhane is scheduled to announce the formation of an interim management committee and hand over the entire responsibility of the organizing committee to the Election Commission, which will hold election for the new executive committee of the party.
