During the first session of the budget implementation discussion series launched by the Ministry of Finance, the Minister said, “The government is ready to create an environment conducive to investment and its protection.”

He said the government has already initiated a series of reform measures and that several more significant initiatives are in the pipeline. He urged the private sector to collaborate with the government to this end, adding that the government remains committed to supporting the private sector.

The discussions, held on Tuesday, lasted for around five years and were attended by over two dozen representatives from the business community. During the interaction, the Minister assured participants that their concerns and grievances regarding excise and customs duty, export grants, and the banking sector would be addressed by establishing an institutional mechanism.
