Kathmandu, May 24: The Rastriya Swatantra Party has approved the preparation schedule for its first national general convention. The party’s Central Election Commission has circulated the preparation schedule for the general convention to provincial and district presidents.
According to the approved schedule, election committees should be formed in 77 districts and seven provinces by Jestha 15 in the Lunar Calendar. Similarly, the reports of local and district conventions will be collected by Jestha 20 and the district convention and election reports will be submitted by Jestha 30.
Similarly, the list of general convention delegates should be submitted by Jestha 25, the details of elected office bearers in the provincial convention will be submitted by Asad 5 and discussions on electronic voting will be held, shared Ram Gurung, Deputy Chief of the Central Election Commission.
The Rastriya Swatantra Party is scheduled to hold its first national general convention in Chitwan on coming Asad 7, 8 and 9 (coming June 21, 22 and 23).
