Gandaki, May 22: The Kaski District Court on Friday issued a verdict, asking government to withdraw the organised crime and money-laundering charges against Rabi Lamichhane, President of the Rastriya Swatantra Party, and two others Gitendra Babu (GB) Rai and Chhabilal Joshi.
A bench led by district judge Himlal Belbase, however, decided to continue the cooperative fraud case against them. Kaski District’s Court registrar Rajan Khanal confirmed such amendments in case.
According to Khanal, following the court’s order, Lamichhane and others will no longer face charges related to the organised crme, money laundering and offences under the Nepal Rastra Bank Act.
