Kathmandu, June 22: CPN-UML Vice Chair Bishnu Paudel has been arrested by the Department of Money Laundering Investigation, officials said on Monday.
Paudel was in Surkhet to attend a party event when he was taken into custody. According to police, he was arrested in Surkhet and is being transported to Kathmandu for further legal proceedings and investigation.
Authorities have not yet disclosed further details regarding the charges or circumstances surrounding the arrest.
