Brazil beat India in International Friendly

Kathmandu, Oct 4: Five-time world champions Brazil secured a comfortable 4-0 victory over India in an international friendly on Saturday evening.

The match, played at the Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan Stadium in Kolkata, saw Brazil dominate proceedings, with Samuel Dias Lino scoring twice, while Estevao and Pedro added one goal each.

Estevao opened the scoring in the 28th minute, putting Brazil ahead with a well-taken goal.

Pedro doubled Brazil’s advantage in the 42nd minute, giving the visitors a 2-0 lead heading into halftime.

Lino extended Brazil’s lead in the 58th minute, making it 3-0. He then completed his brace in the fifth minute of second-half stoppage time to seal a convincing 4-0 victory for Brazil.
