Kathmandu, Sept 26: A total of 5,285 people are still reported missing following the Bhote Koshi floods.
According to the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority (NDRRMA), the bodies of 1,451 individuals have been recovered so far, while two people died during treatment.
Likewise, 13,795 people have been rescued to date.
Of these, 1,113 individuals including 187 from Nuwakot, 805 from Rasuwa, and 121 from Dhading are currently sheltering in 21 holding centers.
Additionally, DNA samples have been collected from 2,060 individuals. Seven people injured in the floods are undergoing treatment, while 10,988 individuals have received medical care through security agencies.
