Bajura, Aug 14: Pratikshya Thapa, 20, of Tribeni municipality-9, who was missing in a landslide occurred at Tamsu of Tribeni municipality-9 in Bajura district on Thursday night, has been found dead.
Her body was found inside the house buried by the landslide, said Information Officer at the District Police Office, Naresh Bahadur Shahi.
Nepal Police, Armed Police Force Nepal and Nepali Army as well as locals had carried out search for missing Thapa.
Other houses in the settlement are also at the risk due to landslide, said a local Dipendra Thapa. Landslide has completely damaged the houses of local Dharma Thapa and Karna Bahadur Thapa.
Dharma Thapa and Dhauli Devi Rawal have sustained injuries in the landslide and they are receiving treatment at District Hospital, Martadi, said police.
