Agency, Sep 7: Defending champions Arsenal continued their perfect start to the English Premier League season with a 2-1 comeback victory over Chelsea, while Manchester United were held to a 2-2 draw by Everton on Saturday night.
At the Emirates Stadium, Chelsea made a dream start as Morgan Rogers scored in just the second minute to give the visitors an early lead.
However, Arsenal responded strongly, with Kai Havertz finding the equaliser in the 25th minute to make it 1-1 heading into the break.
Martin Ødegaard then completed the comeback in the 50th minute, scoring what proved to be the winning goal as Arsenal secured a 2-1 victory.
With the win, Arsenal maintained their perfect record, collecting nine points from three matches to sit second in the league table. Chelsea, meanwhile, remain fourth with six points from the same number of games.
In another match played later that night, Manchester United were held to a 2-2 draw by Everton despite taking the lead twice.
Bryan Mbeumo and Benjamin Šeško scored one goal each for United, while Tricky George and Ainsley Maitland-Niles found the net for Everton.
The result leaves Everton eighth in the table with five points from three matches, while Manchester United sit 11th with four points.
