Kathmandu, Sept 14: The Nepali National Men’s Cricket Team, champions of the ACC Premier Cup 2026, has made its way back home.
The team touched down in Kathmandu late Sunday evening. Upon their arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, they were welcomed by Secretary Paras Khadka, Vice President Roshan Kumar Singh, and other officials from the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN).
Secretary Khadka while greeting the players, congratulated to the team for their impressive title win and wished them all the best for their upcoming competitions.
Nepal clinched the ACC Premier Cup title for the second time, triumphing over the United Arab Emirates (UAE) by 44 runs in the final match on Saturday.
With this victory, Nepal has secured a spot in the Asia Cup, set to take place in Bangladesh next year. This will mark Nepal’s second appearance in the Asia Cup, having made their debut in 2023.
