Kathmandu, May 4: Nepali players won four gold medals in the Open International Taekwondo Championships held in Hainan, China.
According to coach of the Nepali team, Indraraj Khadka, Nepal’s Vision Tamang won two gold medals. Tamang won the gold medals, one in male’s 49 kg and the next in U19 of Poomsae event. Likewise, Ayush Bohara won a gold medal in the breaking event and a bronze in Poomsae.
Likewise, Sandip Basnet got a gold medal in the breaking event. The championship was held from May 2 to 4 in Sanya city of Hainan, China.
