Dharan (Sunsari), Feb 21: Narendra Singh Rawat and Santoshi Shrestha emerged victorious in the 14th Dharan 10-K Run held in Dharan.
Rawat finished the 10-kilometre race in a remarkable time of 31 minutes and 51 seconds, while Shrestha crossed the finish line in 37 minutes and 37 seconds. Both champions received a cash prize of Rs 60,000.
In the men’s category, Julius Meriuki secured second place with a time of 31 minutes and 58 seconds, while Pushpa Sharma took the women’s runner-up position, completing the race in 41 minutes and 44 seconds.
Each of the runners-up will be awarded Rs 40,000. Amir Limbu clocked in at 32 minutes and 50 seconds, and Priya Chhetri finished in 42 minutes and 3 seconds.
