Kathmandu, July 15: In the ongoing FIFA World Cup 2026, Spain has defeated France, thereby entering the final.
Spain defeated France 2-0 in the first semifinal match held at the Dallas Stadium in Texas, USA to secure the journey to the final.
Mikel Oyarzabal and Pedro Porro scored goals for Spain’s victory. It was Mikel Oyarzabal making first goal in the match. He scored with the penalty in the 22nd minute of the game.
Spain was awarded a penalty once France’s Lucas Digne fouled against Lamine Yamal.
Pedro Porro scored in the 58th minute of the game to excel Spain’s performance, totaling two goals. France failed to score a goal, paving way to Spain’s journey to the final.
With this, Spain will face a winner of England-Argentina match at New York New Jersey Stadium on Sunday.
