Kathmandu, May, 5: President Ram Chandra Paudel on Tuesday promulgated an ordinance related to the Constitutional Council, covering its functions, duties, powers, and procedures.
The Office of the President confirmed the issuance of the ordinance. The move comes after President Paudel had earlier returned the ordinance for reconsideration.
A Cabinet meeting held on Monday subsequently decided to resend the ordinance to the President, paving the way for its promulgation.
