Kathmandu, April 14: Nepali Congress (NC) has commenced it’s month-long ‘root campaign’ to update the active membership of the party today.
NC President Gagan Kumar Thapa opened the campaign by updating his membership in Kathmandu Metropolitan City-30.
He asked those interested to cooperate and unable to not go for non-cooperation to the party’s campaign.
“As a party President, I come up with a thought. It has to be undertaken. Those interested will help this campaign to move. Those unable, please do not create uneasy situation”, he noted.
Informing that all matters of the members have been digitalized for active membership purpose, he highlighted the need of cooperation from all colleagues of the party to advance updating of membership.
He clarified that the campaign has been taken ahead to manage, consolidate and update the party organization.
Through the ‘One Month Let Us Reach the Root campaign’, NC has set its goal to make digital Congress ID mandatory, update the active membership in ward, distribute new membership and hold dialogue with citizens.
