Kathmandu, Aug 21: The Ministry of Health and Food Safety has issued a circular to local authorities to guarantee the availability of free medicines and medical supplies for the health institutions operating at the local level.
The circular is made to enhance basic health services with the essential drugs and materials in place. A comprehensive list of required medicines and supplies is sent to the local government.
The local health institutions are urged to distribute the listed medicines for free of cost to the patients.
