Mbappe hits double, PSG thrash Barcelona to reach semi-finals of Champions Leauge

Barcelona, April 17: French club Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) has reached the semi-finals of the UEFA Champions League. In the second leg of the quarter-finals on Tuesday night, PSG reached the semi-final after defeating Catalan club FC Barcelona 4-1 and 6-4 on aggregate.

Kylian Mbappe scored two goals to give PSG victory, while Ousmane Dembele and Vitinha scored the one goal each. Rafinha scored a goal for Barcelona. In the 12th minute of the game, Rafinha scored and gave Barcelona the early lead. In the 40th minute, Dembele scored and brought PSG to a 1-1 draw.

Vitinha scored in the 54th minute to give PSG a 2-1 lead. When Mbappe scored a penalty in the 61st minute, the visiting team took a 3-1 lead in the game. Similarly, in the 89th minute of injury time, Mbappe scored a goal to give PSG a 4-1 win in the game and 6-4 on aggregate.

With the victory, PSG has reached the semi-finals while Barcelona is out of the competition. Now PSG will face the German club Dortmund in the semi-finals. In the second leg of the other quarter-final last night, Dortmund defeated Atletico Madrid by 4-2 goals and 5-4 goals on aggregate.
