Tehran, IRNA : President Masoud Pezeshkian has congratulated the appointment of Nepal’s new prime minister, emphasizing Iran’s readiness to expand comprehensive cooperation with the country.
In his message to new Nepalese Prime Minister Balendra Shah, Pezeshkian said on Monday that Iran values the friendly relations with Nepal over the past six decades, which have always been based on mutual respect and common interests.
He expressed Iran’s readiness to expand cooperation with Nepal in the economic, commercial, energy, tourism, agricultural, and educational fields.
He wished success for Balendra Shah and progress and prosperity for the people of this country.
Pezshkian hoped that the Nepalese prime minister’s valuable experiences in executive and political arenas will play a key role in further strengthening these relations and opening new horizons for cooperation between the two countries.
