Kathmandu, May 13: Nepali Congress lawmaker Nishcal Rai has urged the Speaker to ensure the presence of the Prime Minister in the Parliament.
In today’s meeting of the House of Representatives, lawmaker Rai asked Speaker Dol Prasad Aryal to call Prime Minister Balendra Shah in the House as the PM has remained absent in today’s discussions of policies and programmes unveiled by the government for coming fiscal year.
He said, “Call the Prime Minister to the House even issuing a ruling immediately.”
Similarly, Indira Ranamagar of the Rastriya Swatantra Party requested the government to support for the treatment of Dinesh Parajuli injured in elephant attack.
Drawing the attention of the government towards the bus accident in Arghakhanchi, Sagar Bhusal of the RSP asked the government to pay attention to road safety, vehicle monitoring and management as well as repair and maintenance of roads.
