Kathmandu, June 28: The meeting of the House of Representatives has begun with the schedule to pass two budget related bills.
Finance Minister Dr Swarnim Wagle is presenting proposals, seeking passage of the ‘Financial Bill, 2083’ and ‘State Debt Recovery Bill, 2083’. Before this, the HoR deliberates on the amendment proposal on Financial Bill, 2083.
Speaker Dol Prasad Aryal will be tabling the amendments on the Bill for final decision in the meeting, according to parliament secretariat.
On behalf of Prime Minister Balendra Shah, Minister for Science, Technology and Innovation, Mahabir Pun, is tabling the 63rd annual report of the Auditor General, 2083, and the ‘Public Procurement (second amendment) Bill, 2083’.
Others in the schedule are presentation of ‘Money Laundering (third amendment) Prevention Bill, 2083’ by Minister Wagle, while the presentation of ‘Cooperatives (first amendment) Bill, 2083’ by Minister for Land Management, Cooperatives, Federal Affairs and General Administration, Pratibha Rawal; and the presentation of ‘Bill designed to amend some Acts related to Academy of Health Sciences, 2083’ by Minister for Health and Food Safety, Nisha Mehta.
Speaker Aryal is also reading out letter received from President’s Office on authentication of bill.
