Kathmandu, July 13: The National Statistics Office has said the fourth Labour Force Survey is underway.

According to the Office, the survey aims to determine the size of the workforce nationwide, employment status, types of labour, and the overall condition of the labour market.

Office Spokesperson Dhundiraj Lamichhane said data collection has been ongoing for the past five months to assess fluctuations in seasonal employment, and their impact. The survey is expected to conclude by February-March, 2027. The survey covers working-age population.
