Kathmandu, July 18: Former Prime Minister and Coordinator of the Nepal Communist Party (NCP), Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, expressed sorrow over the demise of citizen leader and former minister Dr. Devendra Raj Pandey.
“The contributions he made towards citizen freedom, good governance, and people’s rights, along with the peace process and the establishment of democratic republic in Nepal, will always be remembered with due repect in Nepali history.” Dahal noted.
Coordinator Dahal extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, relatives, and everyone who held respect and affection for him.
Dr. Pandey passed away on Friday evening at his residence in Bishalnagar, Kathmandu. He was 87.
