Kathmandu, Sept 21: China has provided Rs 11 million to help children affected by the Bhotekoshi floods.
Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Nepal, Zhang Maoming, handed over a check for that amount to Minister for Education and Sports Sasmit Pokharel at the Ministry of Education and Sports today.
On the occasion, Minister Pokharel expressed gratitude for the assistance China provided during the disaster and conveyed his belief that necessary coordination and cooperation between Nepal and China will continue in the future.
Ambassador Zhang informed that the amount was provided so that it directly reaches children affected by the flood.
