Kathmandu, July 24: Nepal lost to host Pakistan in a match held on Friday under the Central Asian Volleyball Association (CAVA) Men’s Volleyball Championship 2026.
In the match held in Islamabad, Pakistan, the host country secured a comfortable 3-0 victory, winning the match 25-14, 25-18 and 25-10.
This marks Nepal’s third consecutive defeat in the tournament. Nepal had earlier lost to Kazakhstan in their opening match and Sri Lanka in the second match.
Nepal will face Bangladesh on July 26. A total of six countries: Nepal, Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka are participating in the Championship, with the top four teams advancing to the semi-finals.
The Championship that kicked off on July 22 at the Garrison Jinnah Sports Complex in Islamabad will conclude on July 29.
