Kathmandu, Oct 13 : The Cabinet has decided to promote Brigadier General Purna Bahadur Khatri of the Nepali Army to the rank of Major General.
Khatri, who has been serving as a Military Assistant (MA) in the Nepali Army, was promoted to Major General effective October 8, 2026.
With this promotion, Khatri has advanced to a higher level of military leadership within the Nepali Army.
