Kathmandu, Aug 26: The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has alerted the general people residing in downstream areas, saying massive flooding coming from Tibet has hit the Bhotekoshi and Trishuli rivers.
Urging the people of Rasuwa and Nuwakot districts to adopt precautions, the Department shared that risk has increased in downstream areas due to flood.
Chief of Flood Forecasting Division, Binod Parajuli, mentioned that it was necessary to adopt alertness at in downstream areas of Nuwakot, Dhading and Chitwan districts as the flood might reach up to Muglin.
Meanwhile, District Administration Office, Dhading, has requested to everyone concerned to remain alert, saying the District Administration Office, Rasuwa, has also called to adopt alertness along with early information of flood.
