APF clinch Chandragadhi Women’s Gold Cup title with narrow win over Army

Jhapa, April 27: Nepal APF Club has clinched the title of the Om Sai Pathibhara Hospital Chandragadhi Women’s Gold Cup held in Jhapa. In the final played on Monday evening, APF defeated Tribhuvan Army Football Club 1–0 to emerge as champions.

Rashmi Kumari Ghising scored the decisive goal to secure victory for APF. After a goalless first half, Ghising found the net in the 72nd minute with a header, converting a well-delivered cross from Anita Basnet.

With this win, APF received a cash prize of NPR 1.1 million along with the trophy, while runners-up Tribhuvan Army had to settle for NPR 500,000.
