Bayern Munich made a flying start to the competition, cruising to a 5–0 victory over Bodø/Glimt at the Allianz Arena.
Michael Olise starred for the German giants, scoring twice, while Jamal Musiala, Harry Kane and Olise were also on the scoresheet to complete a dominant performance.
In another match played on the same night, Manchester United thrashed Sabah FK 4–0 at home.
United’s victory was secured through goals from Matheus Cunha, Bruno Fernandes, Benjamin Šeško and Lisandro Martínez, with each player finding the net once.
