Playing at the Spotify Camp Nou, Barcelona took the lead in the sixth minute through Lamine Yamal. Fermín López doubled the advantage in the 22nd minute, sending the hosts into halftime with a comfortable 2-0 lead.
Raphinha added a third in the 50th minute as Barcelona continued to dominate the match. Pedri then made it 4-0 in the 79th minute before Yamal completed the rout with his second goal of the night in the 84th minute.
The emphatic victory sees Barcelona remain at the top of the La Liga table with 12 points from four matches. Valencia, meanwhile, remain at the bottom with just one point from their opening four games.
