Sunsari, Aug 8: Police here have arrested four suspects from Barahkshetra-Chatara road in Barahkshetra municipality-1.
Chandra Bahadur Khadka, the Information Officer at the District Police Office, shared with RSS that they discovered 22 bags of marijuana stashed in a car and a motorcycle traveling from the Baraha towards Chatara.
The driver of the car, 34-year-old Thaman Rai from Dharan sub-metropolitan city-13, along with his passenger, 22-year-old Jeevani Rai from Manebhanjyang Rural Municipality-5, Okhaldhunga were taken into custody.
Additionally, the motorcyclist, 26-year-old Amar Kamat from Morang Kathari Rural Municipality-3, and his passenger, 38-year-old Shankar Chaudhary, also from the same area, were arrested.
The suspects are currently being held at the local police office in Mahendranagar.
