Kathmandu, April, 10: Prime Minister Balen Shah has expanded the Cabinet, appointing Gaurikumari Yadav as Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies and Ramji Yadav as Minister for Labour, Employment and Social Security on Friday.
The newly appointed ministers are scheduled to take the oath of office and secrecy before the President later today at a special ceremony at Sheetal Niwas, the official presidential residence. Gaurikumari Yadav was elected from Mahottari-4, while Ramji Yadav represents Saptari-2.
Earlier, former Labour Minister Deepak Sah was dismissed on Thursday following controversy. The Industry Ministry had been under the direct charge of the Prime Minister prior to the new appointments.
