UML Chair Oli directs lawmakers to perform for country and people’s sake

Kathmandu, March 26: CPN (UML) chairperson KP Sharma Oli has directed lawmakers elected from his party to perform with determination in favour of the country and the people being not disappointed from the recent poll results.

At a programme organized at the party central office, Chyasal, immediately after the newly-elected House of Representatives (HoR) members took the oath of office and secrecy, Oli directed his parliamentarians in both the HoR and National Assembly to work keeping the public interest and nation-building at the centre.

The former Prime Minister recalled his works in favour of the country and the people and directed lawmakers to work to strengthen the country’s path to prosperity.

He said they would unswervingly face the possible misleading propaganda against him and his party. “There is no alternative but to deter the possible uncivilized and misconceived attacks against us on unison”, he asserted.

Anarchism is prevailing in global politics now, Chair Oli said, adding the agencies such as the United Nations are also getting ineffective.
