Patan (Lalitpur), March 2: Nepali Congress (NC) Vice-President Bishwa Prakash Sharma has urged the voters to actively participate in the upcoming House of Representatives (HoR) elections scheduled for March 5.
At a press conference on Monday afternoon at the NC central office in Sanepa, Sharma stated that there is a shared responsibility of both the government and the Election Commission in ensuring a smooth electoral process. “I call on the Election Commission and the government to create a conducive environment for easy voting, and I kindly request voters to take their time in making decisions,” he said.
Sharma noted that the slogan ‘Changed Congress; We Will Change the Nation’ has resonated well, thanks to the support from various sectors aimed at meeting the youth’s aspirations for change.
He also stressed the importance of the government’s commitment to the safety of Nepali citizens living in the Middle Eastern countries, urging the Nepali embassies there to be proactive in safeguarding the interests and security of Nepali citizens.
