Ambassadors of Five Countries, Including China, Present Letters of Credence to the President

Kathmandu, Feb 24: Newly appointed ambassadors from different countries to Nepal, including China, presented their letter of credence before President Ramchandra Paudel on Tuesday.

At a special ceremony held at Sheetal Niwas, the Office of the President, President Paudel received letters of credence from five newly appointed ambassadors-three resident and two non-resident, according to the Office of the President.

Resident ambassadors presenting their credentials are Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Zhang Maoming, Australian Ambassador to Nepal Simon George Ernst and Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Nepal, Fahd Mohammad Ajmi Mnikhr.

Likewise, non-resident ambassadors submitting their credentials are Ambassador of the Maldives to Nepal, Aishath Azeema, and Ambassador of Turkey to Nepal, Ali Murat Ersoy, said the Office of the President.

Meanwhile, Chinese Ambassador Zhang Moaming said that he was honoured to present his credentials to the President of Nepal Ramchandra Paudel.

“Honoured to present my credentials to Rt. Hon. Ramchandra Paudel, President of Nepal today”, Ambassador Zhang said adding, “As the 23rd Chinese Ambassador to Nepal, I look forward to working with all Nepali friends to deepen our everlasting friendship and advance practical cooperation for a China-Nepal community with a shared future.”
