Jhapa, Feb 23: Vice President of the Nepali Congress, Bishwoprakash Sharma, said election atmosphere has been created, so there is no point in expressing doubt over House of Representatives (HoR) election scheduled for March 5.
At a press conference organized by the Press Union Jhapa chapter today, he acknowledged that the Election Commission, government, political parties and media played vital roles in creating the election atmosphere.
“Favourable atmosphere is imperative for election, and it is in place now. All political parties, even those rejecting election earlier, have finally embraced the HoR election,” he reminded. The NC Vice President Sharma urged all political parties for their active roles in curbing the activities that are against election and election code of conduct.
“Election is a battlefield of both personality and thoughts. We must make the March 5 election successful,” he underscored.
In response to a journalist’s query, Vice President Sharma viewed proper management of situation emerged after the Gen Z movement bears more importance than securing victory in election.
