President Thapa vows development in Sarlahi

Barahathawa (Sarlahi), Jan 29: Nepali Congress President Gagan Kumar Thapa vowed model development in constituency no 4 of Sarlahi district from where he is contesting the House of Representatives election scheduled for March 5.

During an interaction on market development at ward no 7 of Marahathawa municipality in the district on Thursday, President Thapa reiterated that he would make utmost efforts for the development in the constituency in the coming five years.

“I came here in Madhes not for option but as per my aspiration,” he said, reminding that it is essential for him to understand Madhes in addition to hills and cities.

According to him, Nepal has adequate resources and workforce, but willpower and leadership. He informed that the Nepali Congress got a new leadership as per the Gen Z mandate. The Gen Z youths have significant role in driving change in the country, Thapa stated.

He also spoke on the role played by martyr Durga Nand Jha.
