Adanchuli (Humla), Dec 26: Two persons were injured in a fire incident at Sarkegad Rural Municipality-2, Rip village.
The blaze caused damage to five houses, informed Bijaya Fadera, a local. The fire had suddenly broken out from the house of Laiba Fadera last night.
Laiba and Bambu Fadera sustained injuries in the incident. The injured were taken to the District Hospital for treatment last night.
The fire caused damage to the houses of local Laiba, Jayaram Fadera, Kranti Fadera, Ramesh Mahatara and Mohan Mahatara.
The loss and damage caused by the fire has yet to be ascertained, Bijaya Fadera shared. The fire was put under control with the help from locals, he informed.
Police Inspector at the District Police Office, Bishnu Shrestha said that security personnel were mobilized from the Sarkegad police post immediately after the incident.
