According to the Police Headquarters, the Nepal Police operated three vehicles, providing free transport services to 1,406 passengers on October 20 and 21.
Similarly, Shailendra Thapa, Deputy Spokesperson for the APF, said that two APF buses provided free transport to 2,179 passengers over three days, beginning on October 19. The buses operated in the Kathmandu Valley in Maha Ashtami, Maha Nawami, and Bijaya Dashami.
The free bus services were provided to facilitate the movement of passengers amid a shortage of public transport during the Dashain festival, it is said.
