Kathmandu, Feb 10: Nepalese youth team won the friendly match against the Chinese Yansu provincial team. Nepal defeated the Chinese youth team by 5-1 in the match on Saturday afternoon.
Samir Tamang scored two goals while Sanjeev Bista, Chiring Lama and Nirajan Dhami scored one each to give victory to Nepal in the Dasharath Stadium in Tripureshwar. Jhachi Pengukuo scored the consolation goal for the visiting team. Nepal scored two goals in the first half and three goals in the second half.
A friendly match was played between two young teams on the occasion of Chinese New Year. Various cultural programs were also organized before the game.
