{"id":6206,"date":"2024-07-31T14:09:32","date_gmt":"2024-07-31T08:24:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nepalsamaj.com\/en\/?p=6206"},"modified":"2024-07-31T14:09:32","modified_gmt":"2024-07-31T08:24:32","slug":"55-people-go-missing-in-trishuli-river-in-eight-years","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nepalsamaj.com\/en\/55-people-go-missing-in-trishuli-river-in-eight-years\/","title":{"rendered":"55 people go missing in Trishuli river in eight years"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;\" class=\"sharethis-inline-share-buttons\" ><\/div><p>Chitwan, July 31: As many as 55 people have gone missing with 21 vehicles plunging into the Trishuli river from the Narayangadh-Muglin section and the Muglin-Mauwakhola section of the Prithvi Highway in the last eight years.<\/p>\n<p>Among those missing is former Home Minister and Foreign Affairs Minister Madhav Prasad Ghimire.<\/p>\n<p>The District Traffic Police Office stated that five vehicles went missing in the river in Fiscal Year 2073-74 BS, four vehicles in FY 2074-75 BS, four vehicles in FY 2075-76 BS, one each in FY 2076-77 BS, FY 2077-78 BS and FY 2079-80 BS and five in FY 2080-81 BS.<\/p>\n<p>Fourteen people went missing in the missing vehicles in FY 2073-74 BS, four people in FY 2078-79 BS and 37 people in FY 2080-81 BS.
