{"id":57799,"date":"2026-11-04T12:52:05","date_gmt":"2026-11-04T07:07:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nepalsamaj.com\/en\/?p=57799"},"modified":"2026-11-04T12:52:05","modified_gmt":"2026-11-04T07:07:05","slug":"two-of-eight-jailbreakers-arrested","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nepalsamaj.com\/en\/two-of-eight-jailbreakers-arrested\/","title":{"rendered":"Two of eight jailbreakers arrested"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;\" class=\"sharethis-inline-share-buttons\" ><\/div><p>Rukum West, Nov. 4: Police in Rukum West have arrested two of the eight prisoners who escaped from Dolpa District Prison after digging a tunnel.<\/p>\n<p>The two were arrested while police were searching for the eight inmates who escaped from the district prison in Thuli Bheri Municipality-3, Dolpa, on Saturday morning.<\/p>\n<p>According to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Bed Bahadur Paudel, Chief of the District Police Office, the two were arrested on Tuesday morning at Kholibagar in Damachaur, Aathbiskot Municipality-6, Rukum West.<\/p>\n<p>The arrested prisoners have been identified as 32-year-old Ram Bahadur BK of Aathbiskot Municipality-10, Rukum West, and 28-year-old Resham Rana of Kumakh Rural Municipality-5, Salyan. Both were serving prison sentences in rape cases.<\/p>\n<p>A police team deployed from the Chaurjahari Base Camp and Gotamkot Police Post arrested them during a vehicle inspection. They were travelling towards Radi in Aathbiskot in a vehicle when police intercepted them.<\/p>\n<p>They have been kept at the Gotamkot Police Post.
