{"id":56362,"date":"2026-10-07T20:20:52","date_gmt":"2026-10-07T14:35:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nepalsamaj.com\/en\/?p=56362"},"modified":"2026-10-07T20:20:52","modified_gmt":"2026-10-07T14:35:52","slug":"sc-orders-to-present-written-reply-on-writ-against-sudurpaschim-government","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nepalsamaj.com\/en\/sc-orders-to-present-written-reply-on-writ-against-sudurpaschim-government\/","title":{"rendered":"SC orders to present written reply on writ against Sudurpaschim government"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;\" class=\"sharethis-inline-share-buttons\" ><\/div><p>Sudurpaschim, Oct 7: The Supreme Court (SC) has issued an order to present response in writing to the budget related certiorari writ petition filed against the Sudurpaschim province government.<\/p>\n<p>A single bench of Supreme Court Justice Mahesh Sharma Paudel, conducting preliminary hearing on the writ petition filed by advocate Maniram Upadhyay, has ordered to submit a written response through the Chief Attorney Office, Sudurpashchim Province, named as main defendant in the writ.<\/p>\n<p>The order states that a written reply should be submitted within 15 days, along with the grounds and reasons, regarding whether an order should be issued as demanded by the writ petitioner.<\/p>\n<p>In regard to the interim order requested by the petitioner, it was considered appropriate to hear both sides, and both parties have been called for discussion on October 9.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Since it is deemed appropriate to discuss the interim order requested by the petitioner by hearing both sides, schedule the case with priority on the hearing list and ensure the defendant submits the response electronically today itself according to the rules,&#8221; the order said.<\/p>\n<p>Lawyer Upadhyay had filed a writ regarding the budget brought by the government led by then Chief Minister Kamal Bahadur Shah for the current fiscal year 2083\/84.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Sudurpashchim Province&#8217;s Attorney General Thekendra Raj Joshi said that today&#8217;s Supreme Court order would not be a problem for the current government to present the budget.<br \/>\nEven though there is currently a budget vacuum in Sudurpashchim, the government is preparing to bring the budget today itself.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sudurpaschim, Oct 7: The Supreme Court (SC) has issued an order to present response in writing to the budget related certiorari writ petition filed against the Sudurpaschim province government.
