{"id":56260,"date":"2026-10-06T16:29:30","date_gmt":"2026-10-06T10:44:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nepalsamaj.com\/en\/?p=56260"},"modified":"2026-10-06T16:29:30","modified_gmt":"2026-10-06T10:44:30","slug":"ticket-booking-opens-for-dashain-from-october-9","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nepalsamaj.com\/en\/ticket-booking-opens-for-dashain-from-october-9\/","title":{"rendered":"Ticket booking opens for Dashain from October 9"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;\" class=\"sharethis-inline-share-buttons\" ><\/div><p>Kathmandu, Oct 6: Ticket booking for passengers travelling home for this year&#8217;s Dashain will open on October 9.<\/p>\n<p>A meeting held today between the Federation of Nepalese National Transport Entrepreneurs and the Department of Transportation Management decided to this effect.<\/p>\n<p>Federation Chair Punya Prasad Sitaula and Department&#8217;s Director General Rajeev Pokharel represented their respective sides at the meeting.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking after the meeting, Director General Pokharel said the Department is committed to making public transportation during Dashain safe, accessible, and well-managed.<\/p>\n<p>During the festival especially in Dashain, there is a significant increase in the number of passengers travelling from Kathmandu Valley to their hometowns.<\/p>\n<p>According to Pokharel, coordination among the bodies concerned including transport entrepreneurs is necessary to ensure that each aspiring passenger can get tickets conveniently and reach the destination safely and comfortably.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kathmandu, Oct 6: Ticket booking for passengers travelling home for this year&#8217;s Dashain will open on October 9.
