{"id":54602,"date":"2026-09-07T17:19:14","date_gmt":"2026-09-07T11:34:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nepalsamaj.com\/en\/?p=54602"},"modified":"2026-09-07T17:19:14","modified_gmt":"2026-09-07T11:34:14","slug":"president-paudel-visits-flood-affected-nuwakot","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nepalsamaj.com\/en\/president-paudel-visits-flood-affected-nuwakot\/","title":{"rendered":"President Paudel visits flood-affected Nuwakot"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;\" class=\"sharethis-inline-share-buttons\" ><\/div><p>Nuwakot, Sept 7: President Ramchandra Paudel today visited Nuwakot, which has been severely affected by the recent devastating floods in the Bhotekoshi and subsequent Trishuli River systems.<\/p>\n<p>During the visit, he took stock of search and rescue operations, distribution of humanitarian assistance, operation of holding centers and rehabilitation efforts underway in the affected-areas<br \/>\nOn the occasion, Chief District Officer Shambhu Prasad Regmi and the Committee members apprised the Head of State of the loss of lives and property caused by the disaster in the district.<\/p>\n<p>The President took updates from CDO Regmi on the progress in search and rescue operations, the distribution of relief assistance, rehabilitation efforts, and immediate reconstruction efforts.<br \/>\nThe President also visited the holding center established at the covered hall in Bidur Municipality-2, where he interacted with the flood- affected people from Rasuwa and Nuwakot districts.
