Faguram Tharu of Salhesh scored the decisive goal in the second half that secured the championship.<br \/>\nSalhesh Youth Club had reached the final by defeating Georgian United from India 2-1. Meanwhile, Fidim Sporting Club reached the final by beating Jhapa-11 with 1-0.<\/p>\n<p>The competition hosted by the Lakhe Jatra Operation Committee featured participation from eight groups including a team from India.<\/p>\n<p>The winners, Salhesh, received Rs 7,02,083 in cash along with a trophy, medals, and certificates, while the runners-up Fidim got Rs 3,52,083 along with trophies, medals, and certificates.<br \/>\nPlayers with outstanding performances in the tournament were also given various awards.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Taplejung, Sept 5: The International Invitational fourth Taplejung Gold Cup was won by the defending champions Salhesh Youth Club.
